We are conducting a Free SOL Mock exams to help your student get ready for their school’s SOL exams scheduled for the month of May.
Invited: 3rd, 4th & 5th graders
Date: Saturday, 9 March 2019
Time: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
RSVP: By Thursday, 7 March 2019
Results: Will be sent to you by e-mail
Note: The results of the school administered SOL exams can be used for the next higher grade math placement. For 5th graders especially, the results are used in determining your student’s placement in the “6th/7th grade Honors” classes along with MAP test scores in Loudoun County.
Additionally, in Loudoun, if your student is placed in such Math Honors class, they could become eligible to apply to the Loudoun Academies (AOS/AET) or TJ High by taking on Algebra 1 in 7th grade.
February 18, 2019:
Loudoun County Public schools are closed on Monday, 18 February 2019in observance of the President’s Day Holiday. As such, our XCEL center will also be closed.
Please let us know when you would like to schedule a makeup session affected by this closure. If any questions, please let us know.
January 21, 2019:
The Xcel center will be closed on Monday, 21 January 2019 in observance of Martin Luther King holiday. The center will re-open on Tuesday, 22 January 2019. If you would like to schedule any make-ups, please let us know.
